Connect your Media Center PC to a computer monitor -- Jul 17 2008, 2:51 PM

You can connect a monitor to your PC running Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 just like you would with any other computer. All you have to do is plug the cable from the monitor into the back of the computer. Most monitors use a VGA cable to connect to a PC.

Connect the VGA cable from the monitor to the VGA port on the back of your Media Center PC

Some monitors or higher-end displays connect to your PC with a DVI cable instead of a VGA cable.
